From his early years, Craig harbored a deep passion for working with his hands as a skilled carpenter. With time, Craig transitioned into becoming a truck driver—a career that allowed him to explore new horizons and embrace the beauty of the open road.
While Craig's professional accomplishments defined him in the eyes of many, it is his personal qualities that truly set him apart. In the hearts of his surviving family members—Diana Horn; son Jeremy Thornton; daughters Kelli Thornton and Susan Thornton; granddaughter Allyssa Villalon and husband Eduardo Villarruel; granddaughter Alexandria Thornton; grandson Michael Villalon; great-grandson Leo Villarruel—Craig's memory will forever remain a beacon of love and inspiration. The bond he shared with his family was undeniable, and their lives were enriched by his unwavering presence.
Craig is preceded in death by his father, James Thornton, and mother, Marie Stites, also his father-in-law Clyde "Doc" Horn and mother-in-law Mary Horn.
Among the family circle were Craig's brothers, Dane Thornton with his wife Debbie and Jerry Thornton along with his wife Lisa. Their shared experiences formed an unbreakable bond that spanned a lifetime. In addition to his immediate family, Craig leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews who will carry on his legacy through their own unique paths.
