Carol Louise Allen, a radiant soul born on April 21, 1936, in the embrace of spring gentle warmth, departed this world on December 2, 2024, leaving behind a legacy rich in kindness, compassion, and unwavering dedication. She graced the lives of many as a diligent lab technician within several hospitals in the area, her keen intellect tirelessly contributing to the well-being of countless patients. Beyond her vital work in healthcare, Carol illuminated the minds of young learners as a substitute teacher for Kaufman ISD, sharing her boundless enthusiasm for knowledge and fostering a love for learning.
A beloved member of the River of Life Church in Kemp, Carol’s spirit flourished within her cherished community. Her kindness and welcoming nature made her a linchpin amongst her peers. She had an innate ability to make others feel at ease, always ready with a smile, a listening ear, or a helping hand to those in need. Carol was a true embodiment of generosity, often going above and beyond to uplift those around her.
Her love extended not only to friends and family but also to the four-legged companions that filled her days with joy. She found great happiness in the unconditional love of her pets, each one a testament to her nurturing spirit. Carol cherished the simple joys of life; her garden was a canvas of uncommon vegetables, lovingly nurtured to fruition. She had a remarkable appreciation for art, finding beauty in the world around her, and inspiring those who crossed her path to see the extraordinary in the everyday.
Carol's proudest accomplishments included her integral role in the growth of the River of Life Church, a place where she contributed not just her time, but her heart. As an active member, her impact remains indelible, a vibrant thread woven into the fabric of her community.
Those remaining to cherish her memory are daughter, Anne Corwin (spouse - Dearl, Sr), daughter Cindy Dahkle (spouse - Dean), her brother, Tom Cordner (spouse - Elaine); grandchildren DJ Corwin, Casey Corwin, Mae Corwin, and Jackie Lambert; great grandchildren, Daniel Lineberry, Jeremiah Linebery, Mesiah Huff, Cadence Corwin, Serena Corwin, Malichi Lambert and Jensen Lambert; and great, great grandchildren Jax and Jace Lineberry.
Carol will join her other family members in eternal life, parents Jack Thomas Cordner and Thelma Oletta Covert, and sister Diane Flores.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, December 14, 2024, at 2:00 pm at the River of Life Church in Kemp, Texas - a fitting venue for honoring a woman whose life resonated with love and giving. The gathering will commence at 1:00 PM and will be a time for reflection, gratitude, and remembrance as family, friends, and community come together to celebrate the extraordinary life of Carol Louise Allen.
In remembering Carol, we are reminded of the profound impact one individual can have on many. She lived a life filled with love, teaching us all the importance of kindness, community, and the beauty of giving. Her radiant spirit will forever be a guiding light in the hearts of those she touched.
