Carolyn Lee Dollgener, a beloved member of her community and treasured family matriarch, passed away peacefully in Kemp, Texas on October 8, 2024, at the age of 74. Born on January 7, 1950, in Dallas, Texas, Carolyn filled her life with kindness and compassion, always radiating warmth to those fortunate enough to cross her path.
She dedicated over 20 years of her life serving as a United States Postal Worker, where her friendly face became a comforting presence in the Seven Points area. Carolyn never met a stranger; she had a remarkable ability to make everyone feel at ease, an attribute that endeared her to many. Her caring nature and readiness to help others made her a cherished fixture in her community. Family was of utmost importance to Carolyn. She was a devoted wife to her husband, Mike, with whom she joyfully shared 50 wonderful years. Together, they created a loving home filled with laughter and unforgettable memories. Carolyn was a proud mother to Bradley and Brent Dollgener, who carry forward her spirit of love and generosity. Her family continued to grow with the blessing of seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, each of whom brought her immense joy and pride. In addition to her devotion to family, Carolyn had a deep-rooted passion for the soulful sounds of Elvis Presley, which filled her home and memories with rhythm and joy.
She is survived by her husband, Mike; sons, Bradley (his recently departed spouse - Kerry) and Brent (spouse - Leslie); grandchildren, Brandon Dollgener (spouse- Pam), Jess Dahmer (Spouse- Josh), Zack Mckinney (spouse - Tiffany), Nathan Dollgener (spouse- Mason), Ava Dollgener Bryan Dollgener, and Kaitlyn Dollgener; great grandchildren Lylah Paige, Everly Jane, Brodie Kirk, Avery Blake and Shawn; brothers, Mike Dupree (spouse - Brenda) and David Dupree (spouse - Karen).
Carolyn also joins her beloved parents Chester and Winona (Reed) Dupree, son Brian Dollgener, her sister Janice Hickson, and brother Sammy Dupree, who precede her in death.
Her warm smile, kind heart, and willing spirit will be profoundly missed by all whose lives she touched.
