Deborah Dianne (Wilson) Brewer, 74, passed away on March 28, 2024, in Dallas, Texas. She was born on June 13, 1949, in Brownfield, Texas to parents Johnnie Wilbern and Dorothy Louise (Chaffin) Wilson.
Dianne, a lifelong resident of Kemp, Texas, spent 27 years as a devoted caregiver for VNA Hospice, leaving behind a legacy filled with compassion and kindness. Dianne touched the lives of many individuals with her nurturing spirit and selfless attitude.
Beyond her professional life, Dianne's hobbies and interests painted a picture of a lively and adventurous soul. She found joy in cooking and baking, especially whipping up delicious brownies and pecan pies. Dianne also had a love for gambling, particularly enjoying the thrill of slot machines. Her passion for travel took her to various destinations, with cruises, fishing trips, beach visits, and cheering on the Dallas Cowboys ranking among her favorite activities. Those who knew her best recall that she always had a Diet Dr. Pepper in hand, a small quirk that became a trademark of her warm presence. Dianne, lovingly known as “Big Nanny” to her grandkids, cherished attending her grandchildren's sporting events and supporting them wholeheartedly.
Dianne was known for being very outgoing, never hesitating to strike up conversations with strangers. Her amiable nature made her well-liked by all who crossed paths with her. The world was truly brighter with Dianne's presence in it. Dianne will be remembered for her unwavering dedication to helping others and her vibrant personality, she will be missed by all those who knew and loved her.
Dianne is preceded in death by her parents, Johnnie and Dorothy Wilson; sister, Rhonda Wilson; and former spouse and the father of her children, Tommy Brewer.
Dianne is survived by her daughters, Kim Brewer Haar of Kemp, Texas, Kari Brewer Clasen and husband Donnie of Crandall, Texas, Kristie Brewer Tuley and husband Kevin of Kaufman, Texas, and Kaci Brewer of Martin’s Mill, Texas; grandchildren, Tyler, Brianna, & Deyton Haar of Kaufman, Texas, Jake, Brayli, Landon, & Presli Clasen of Crandall, Texas, Hunter & Kyndall Davis of Kemp, Texas, Joel, Eleana, Hannah, & Amy Tuley of Ennis, Texas, Ryder Marsh of Martin's Mill, Texas; great-grandchildren, Aubri, Aisli, Hayden, J.R., & Emma, as well as numerous other extended family and friends.
