Frank Wayne Abbott

Frank Wayne Abbott, age 75, passed away on April 3rd, 2023, at Watkins-Logan Texas State Veterans hospital. Frank was born on September 6, 1947, to parents Eugene and Lucille (Davis) Abbott, in Kemp, TX.

Frank was a great man who served his country with distinction and honor, during the Vietnam War. During his time in the service Mr. Abbott was wounded twice while serving in Vietnam with the US Army Infantry, both times earning him the Purple Heart. Mr. Abbott also worked as a computer technician where he got the chance to work with both NASA and DeBose.

Mr. Abbott is preceded in death by his brothers; Vandall Abbott, Jack Abbott, Delmar Abbott, and Loy Abbott.

Surviving to cherish the memory of Mr. Abbott is his brother; Phillip Abbott of Athens, TX, and his sister; Debra Cody of Athens, TX. Along with numerous friends, family, and other loved ones.
