Visitation for Glenna Clydene (Maines) Walker, age 86, of Gun Barrel City, Texas will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, January 15, 2022, followed by the service, at 2:00pm at Anderson-Clayton Bros. Funeral Home Chapel in Kemp, Texas officiated by Pastor Michael Thompson. Interment for Mrs. Walker will follow the chapel service, at King Cemetery in Kemp, Texas. Mrs. Walker passed away on Wednesday, January 12, 2022 in Kemp, Texas with her youngest son Bobby by her side.
Glenna Clydene (Maines) Walker was born on May 1,1935 in Harlingen, Texas to Clyde Norman and Ethel Lee (Montgomery) Maines. A woman of great faith and a devoted wife and friend, she will be missed by many. Glenna, despite troubles in her life never allowed the odds to defeat her, she was reunited with one of her sons and daughter in law nearly a decade ago completing her wishes. She is now spending eternity with her maker and is now healed perfectly inside and out. Glenna’s friends and son alike believe that she was a woman that is irreplaceable, full of love and kindness overflowing. Mrs. Walker was a member of Legendary Baptist Church in Gun Barrel City, Texas.
She is survived by her children, Bobby Isgitt and wife, Janice of Belmont, Louisiana, Richard Isgitt and wife, Marcia, of Belmont, Louisiana, Allen Isgitt and wife, Vickie of Many, Louisiana, Brenda Duraso and husband, Jimmy of Belmont, Louisiana, Ben L. Isgitt and wife, Cheryl of Shelbyville, TX; 13 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; close friend and care giver Sherry Delo, her precious Aunt Lois whom was more like a sister, her special cousin Johnny Harrison and numerous nieces and nephews.
Glenna was preceded in death by her parents along with her loving husband Marvin Walker.
