Holly Fay Whiteley

Holly Fay Whiteley, age 36, passed away on January 19, 2025, in Tyler, Texas. She was born on August 17, 1988, in Dallas, Texas to parents Billy Rex and Thelma May (Sparks) Whiteley. 

A proud graduate of Boone County High School in Florence, Kentucky, Holly cherished her educational achievements with her high school graduation standing as one of her proudest accomplishments. Holly obtained her nursing assistant certification, dedicating her career to providing compassionate care and support to individuals who required assistance.

Holly's interests extended beyond her profession. She found solace and fulfillment in working in her garden, nurturing plants, and enjoying the beauty of nature. Walking on nature trails was not only a hobby but a reflection of her appreciation for the outdoors and the serenity it brought her. Holly’s determination and resolve were evident in her outspoken nature and her ability to bring joy and laughter to any gathering; she was often regarded as the life of the party.

Holly’s legacy will be cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing her and experiencing her infectious spirit, she will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved her.

Holly is preceded in death by her mother, Thelma May Whiteley.

Holly is survived by her father, Billy Rex Whiteley; sisters, Billie Gail Whiteley of Kemp, Texas and Marthanna Marie Britt of Sedalia, Missouri; nephews, Hayden Dowdell of Kemp, Texas, David A. Buxton, Matthew A. Edgar, and Jonathan Edgar of Sedalia, Missouri.
