James “Coconut” Frick, age 81, passed away on February 2, 2023, at his residence in Kemp, TX. Mr. Frick was born in East Spencer, NC, on January 22, 1942, to parents Lewis and Beulah Irene (Honeycutt) Frick.
James loved windmills and had a real passion for them he enjoyed building them most though. Mr. Frick was also known as a very kind and loving soul which could be seen by the way he tried to care for all the neighborhood strays. James was also very well known for his morning routine, head to Dairy Queen for breakfast, then followed by coffee with friends at Scotties.
James is preceded in death by his parents, Lewis and Irene Frick; his son, James Frick Jr; brothers, Jerry Frick Jr, and Lee Alexander Frick; and sister, Ethel Mae Trexler.
Mr. Frick’s memory will live on in memories of his close friends; Butch McLaughlin of Seven Points, TX, Sherri Tyler of Kemp, TX, and Katja Duke of Henderson Co. Along with numerous other friends.
