Jeremy Lee Curtis of Reno, Texas passed away on June 13,2023 after losing his year-long battle with cancer. He was born in Dallas on July 28,1970 to Jerome (Jerry) Milton Curtis and Beverly Landrum Biggs. Jeremy grew up in the Kemp area and was a beloved friend to many. He loved the outdoors and especially enjoyed riding the trails in the San Juan Mountains in Colorado. He and his closest buddies liked to hunt, fish, and drink an occasional Coors Light. Jeremy was a truck driver most of his life and liked to talk of all the places he had seen while traveling across the US. Jeremy had a son, Cody Lee Curtis in 1993. He was single most of his life but in 2017, he met Theresa Cave Curtis and they were married on July 14, 2021 on a mountaintop in Colorado.
Jeremy is survived by his wife, Theresa Cave Curtis of Reno; son, Cody Lee Curtis of Duncanville; stepson and daughter-in-law, Brett and Victoria Morgan of Philadelphia, PA; mother and stepfather, Beverly and Ronnie Biggs of Powderly; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Gary Shaw Cave and Patty Wingo Cave; mother-in-law, Lavada Cave, sister and brother-in-law, Kelly and Leslie Wardell of Palestine; half-brother, Rick Curtis and many other aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Jeremy was preceded in death by his father, Jerome Milton Curtis; sister, Rhonda Peterson; paternal grandparents, Jack and Ella Curtis; maternal grandparents, Donald and Carline Landrum.
