Julia Ann Chipman, beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away on November 24, 2023, in Kemp, Texas. She was born on July 17, 1941, in Alice, Texas, to the late T.C. Townsend and Alene Dunaway Townsend.
Julia had a fulfilling career as a residential apartment manager, dedicating thirty years of her life to providing comfortable homes for countless individuals and families. Her commitment to her work exemplified her kind-hearted nature and willingness to help others.
Outside of her professional life, Julia found great joy in crafting. She had a remarkable talent for creating beautiful and intricate pieces that brought happiness to those who received them. Her craftsmanship was testament to her creativity and meticulous attention to detail.
Julia's warm personality and genuine care for those around her will always be remembered by those fortunate enough to have crossed paths with her. Her family and friends were blessed to have been a part of her life.
Preceding Julia in death are her beloved father T.C. Townsend, mother Alene Townsend, brother Terry Con Townsend, and husband Louis Hugh Chipman. Though their absence is deeply felt, their memories will forever live on in the hearts of Julia's loved ones.
Julia leaves behind a cherished legacy through her surviving family members who will continue to honor her memory. She is survived by her daughter Jamie Alonzo and husband Natividad Alonzo of Kemp, TX; son Louis Chipman and wife Theresa Chipman of Dublin, TX; grandchildren: Brandon Stout and wife Vivian Stout of Aubrey, TX, Payson Chipman of Dublin, TX.; Greogory Alonzo and wife Jennifer Alonzo of Moore, TX; Crystal Alonzo of Ft. Worth, TX; great-grandchildren: Caitlyn Alonzo of Covington, WA; Hailey Fontenot and husband Westin Fontenot of Lawton, OK; Maria Alonzo of Moore, TX; Gianna Stout of Aubrey, TX;
Her kindness, compassion, and gentle spirit were the foundation of her character. Julia's warm smile could instantly brighten any room, and her genuine interest in others made everyone feel valued and loved. She had an incredible ability to make others feel at ease and was always there to lend a helping hand or an empathetic ear.
Julia A. Chipman will forever be missed but never forgotten. Her legacy of love, kindness, and dedication will continue to inspire all those whose lives she touched. We celebrate her life, cherishing the memories we shared with her, and finding solace in knowing that although she is no longer physically present, her spirit will forever guide us.
