Karen Denise Stalvey

Funeral service for Karen Denise Stalvey, age 72, of North Richland Hills will be held at 12:00 P.M. on Thursday, March 2, 2023, at Anderson-Clayton Bros. Funeral Home. Visitation will be held prior to the service at 11:00 A.M. Mrs. Stalvey passed away on Tuesday, February 21, 2023, at Life Care Center of Haltom, Haltom City.

Karen was born on November. 5 1950 in Dallas, TX to James W. and Doris (Reynolds) Tatom. She married William “Bill” Stalvey on March 4, 1977, at her parents’ home in Dallas, TX. Karen worked as an Administrative Assistant at Fossil Ridge High School in Fort Worth prior to her retirement.

She is survived by her daughter, Shelly Stalvey and husband Daniel Nazar of Carrollton, TX; brothers Gary Tatom and wife Kathy, James Tatom and wife Debra, Anthony Tatom and wife Susie, sister Dianne Tatom, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Karen was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, William Stalvey.
