Kenneth "Moose" Earl Wilkins, Jr., 47, passed away on May 28, 2024, in Tyler, Texas with his loved ones by his side. Moose was born on June 25, 1976, in Andrews, Texas to parents Kenneth Earl Wilkins, Sr. and Elizabeth Caroline (Miller) Wilkins.
Moose was a loving and caring son, father, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, and friend to many. Those who knew Moose will remember him for his ability to bring laughter or tears to all those around him. His spontaneous and welcoming personality meant that he never met a stranger and thrived from the moments spent with family and friends. He was always willing and ready (no doubt he would always have your back) to go above and beyond for those he loved and cared about. One of Moose's greatest joys in life was spending time outdoors, fishing, and camping with his loved ones. These shared experiences created lasting memories that will be treasured by all who had joined him on these adventures. Among his proudest accomplishments were being a father and a grandfather. Moose found happiness in nurturing those relationships and leaves behind a family who will forever be grateful for his love. In the hearts of those who knew him best, Moose’s memory will live on as a beacon of love and craziness. May he rest in peace knowing that he touched the lives of many and left an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of crossing paths with him.
Moose is preceded in death by his father, Kenneth (Pete) Wilkins; son, Kenneth (Baby Kenny) Earl Wilkins III; maternal and paternal grandparents, numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Left to cherish Moose’s memories, his mother, Caroline Wilkins; daughters, Bailey Betts, Sara Beth Wilkins and husband Alberto, Cheyenne Mims, and Aadysun Boyett; sons, Wyatt Mims and wife Savana, and Nicolas Wilkins; grandchildren, Mary, Hazel, Kimberly (KK), Jr., Owen, Hallie Jane and Stetson Lee; siblings, Brendon Fredricks and wife Susan, Angela Wilkins, and Janie Beckham and husband Tony; father in law, Bill Waldon; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins
Moose had many people that cared for and loved him and now it is time to say goodbye, better yet, see ya later!
