Linda Ann Dalrymple

Linda Ann Dalrymple, age 74, of Kemp, TX passed away peacefully at her home on December 4, 2021 with her family and loved ones by her side. She is now reunited with her husband of 50 years, Billy Don Dalrymple.

Linda is survived by her daughter Tammy Haar and husband Toby of Kemp, son Elvis Dalrymple and wife Debi of Kemp, daughter Dawn Thompson and husband Greg of Mabank, and son Shane Dalrymple of Kemp; siblings Debbie Piacente, Tina Parker, Tommy Stamper, and Steve Stamper; 15 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, Billy Don Dalrymple; her mother, Elsie Roland; her father, Odell Stamper; her step-father, Bill Roland; and her brother, Donnie Stamper.

Linda was born in Kaufman, TX on June 20, 1947. She was the eldest daughter of Odell Stamper and Elsie Kennedy-Roland. She met and married her husband, Billy Don, on December 24, 1966 in Balch Springs, TX. They later built their family home in Kemp where they raised their children and numerous grandchildren.
Linda was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Her family was her world and she was over the moon seeing all of her great-grandchildren being brought into this world. Her hobbies included cooking, reading, playing with her dog, Lil Bit, and spending time with family. She was a kind soul, always helpful and dependable.

Visitation will be Sunday, December 12, 2021 from 6:00 PM-8:00 PM, and Chapel service will be Monday, December 13, 2021 at 10:00 AM at Anderson-Clayton Bros. Funeral Home in Kemp, TX. Graveside service will follow the chapel service at King Cemetery in Aley, TX. Reverend Danny Weems will officiate.
