Linda Jewel Haley

Linda Jewel Haley, age 72, passed away at her residence on Friday, May 5, 2023. She was a longtime resident of Kemp.  Linda was born on January 1, 1951, in Kaufman to the late Monroe Nolan Belcher and the late Luella Hallum. She married her husband, Melvin on January 3, 1983, in Kaufman. Linda worked for Walmart in Gun Barrel City after 20 years of service.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 40 years, Melvin Haley of Kemp, and her great niece, Ashley Webb (spouse – Jason) of Madisonville, Texas.

In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her sister, Jimmie Webb.

Graveside services will be held at Kemp Cemetery on Thursday, May 11, 2023, at 1:00 pm. Those wishing to join Melvin are invited to attend the services for Linda.
