Ann Brennan, 84, of Gun Barrel City, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Dallas, Texas on February 8, 1940, she lived a life defined by love, generosity, and unwavering strength. Ann was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Mildred Smith; her grandson, Jeremy Don Brennan; her brothers, John Smith, Walter Smith, T.A. Smith, Fred Smith, Arthur Smith, Jack Smith; sisters, Francis Warren, Sue Kirby, and Millie Stringfellow. She is survived by her devoted husband of 63 years, Carroll Brennan; her son, Randy Smith; her daughter, Lisa (Jerry Don) Brown; her beloved grandchildren, Lindsey Brown, Angel Brown, Neil Smith, and Matthew Smith; her great-grandchildren, McKenzie Stephens, Avery Crossland, and Faith Smith; her sister Ruth Miller; and her brother Bill (Kathy) Smith. A member of Rockin’ Country Church, Ann’s faith was a cornerstone of her life. Her kind spirit, giving heart, and resilience will forever remain an inspiration to her family and all who knew her.
Services to honor Ann’s life will be hold on December 24th at 2:00 p.m. at Anderson Clayton Brothers – Kemp. Pastor David “Woody” Woodham will officiate the service.
