Myrtle Woodcock

Myrtle Nell Woodcock, age 70, of Scurry, Texas, passed away on Saturday, November 27, 2021 at her home in Scurry, Texas. Services will be held at a later date.

Myrtle was born July 15, 1951 in Richmond, Virginia, the daughter of Neal Hargett Sr. and Susie (Holzapfel) Clay. She married David Woodcock on May 29, 1970 in Chesterfield, Virginia. Myrtle retired as a contracting officer for the Department of Defense.

She is survived by her husband, David; children, Tamara Woodcock, David Woodcock (Melissa), Heather Gibson, Timothy Woodcock (Kimberly); grandchildren, Austin Woodcock, Jimmy Earl Corgill, Justin Corgill, Dusty Loosier, Jacob Loosier, Ellie Loosier, Gavin Irvin, Sheyenne Gibson, Makayla Boone, Morgan Boone, Dalton Gibson, Brody Woodcock, Logan Woodcock, Riley Woodcock; sister, Ferne Snelson.

Myrtle was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Neal Clay Jr.
