Stacy Dawn (Long) Navarro, 51, passed away on March 8, 2024, in Kemp, Texas. She was born on April 6, 1972, in Dallas, Texas to parents Eddie Oscar Long and Tempest Gail (Long) Stanfield.
Stacy was a beacon of light, a free spirit at heart who believed in spreading love and positivity wherever she went. Her comedic spirit was infectious, bringing smiles to countless faces without even trying. As a dedicated mother, she poured her heart into her children and family, embodying the purest form of love.
Not only was Stacy a loving individual, but she also served her country with honor in the Air Force. Her dedication to service was just one example of her unwavering commitment to making the world a better place.
In her free-spirited nature, Stacy indulged in an array of hobbies that showcased her creativity and passion for life. From creating charming acorn and walnut figurines to practicing yoga as a certified instructor, Stacy's zest for crafting and wellness knew no bounds. She adorned multiple hats as a certified life coach and tuning fork healer, guiding others on their paths to self-discovery.
The great outdoors was Stacy's sanctuary, where she found solace in activities like in-line skating, swimming, biking, and simply basking in the sun. Her intellect shone brightly through her love for reading, while her adventurous spirit led her to embrace belly dancing and revel in the magic of live music concerts. Stacy was particularly fond of 1960’s to1980’s Motown and the music of John Denver.
Though Stacy has left this world her memory and spirit lives on in the hearts of those who were lucky enough to know her.
Stacy was preceded in death by her father, Eddie Long, Sr.
She is survived by her mother, Tempest Stanfield and stepfather, Timmy Stanfield of Kemp, Texas; children, Nicholas Navarro of Citrus Heights, California, Gabriel Navarro of Citrus Heights, California, and Rose Tikhonin of Kemp, Texas; siblings, Jodye Dalrymple of Kemp, Texas, Eddie Long, Jr. and wife Laura of New York City, New York, Joshua Long of Carrollton, Texas, Jimmy Stanfield and wife Kelsie of Kemp, Texas, and Timothy Stanfield of Kemp, Texas; nieces & nephews, Chloey, Aaron, Ashlynn, Jude, Blakelynn, and Lucy.
