Vickie Joyce Johnson, a beloved wife, daughter, mother, grandma, sister and friend, passed away on December 28, 2023, at the age of 74. She was born on March 2, 1949, to Odell and Willie Faye (Bruner) McKenzie, and her passing has left a void in the lives of all who knew and loved her.

Vickie, affectionately known as “Grandma,” had a deep love for her family, friends, and her treasured herd of cattle. She found solace and joy in spending time at the pasture, caring for her cattle and tending to their every need. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 56 years Ronnye Johnson; parents Marvin Odell and Willie Faye McKenzie; sisters Nelda Dodson and Sue Ballard. Her love and devotion extended to all those she raised and nurtured, as well as to the generations that followed. She instilled in her loved ones the values of love, perseverance, and the importance of family bonds. Vickie's memory will forever be imprinted upon the hearts of those she leaves behind.

Vickie Joyce Johnson may no longer be physically present, but her spirit and the lessons she imparted will live on through her family and friends.
